Tottenham should go all out to bring Vlahovic to North London next summer

Tottenham Hotspur simply cannot miss out on the chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian striker was linked with a move to Spurs over the summer but ultimately nothing materialised.

Earlier this week we reported that Fabio Paratici has made Vlahovic his top target ahead of the 2022 summer transfer window.

This cannot be a deal that Spurs miss out on.

Vlahovic has all of the potential to turn Tottenham into a new animal.

Stevan Jovetic waxed lyrical over the Fiorentina man over the summer.

The former Fiorentina striker said of Vlahovic (Football-Italia):

“He has pace, strength and an eye for the goal.”

“He will be the best striker of the next few years with Erling Haaland.”

If this proves to be true then Paratici and Daniel Levy have to make this deal happen.

The Serie A forward scored 21 goals in the league last season.

He’s started this season in similar form, with three in three so far (Transfermarkt).

The one problem area at Tottenham has always been the lack of a suitable replacement for Harry Kane.

This is where Vlahovic would come in and out-do himself.

He’s more than capable of scoring goals in place of Kane, but he could also partner the England skipper.

Kane’s tendency to pick the ball up deep and play passes for the runners ahead of him would suit Vlahovic.

The Serbian is the main man in Florence but he could really kick on with Kane’s service.

It would be a huge coup for Spurs to sign him, given the interest he’s garnered this summer.

He could even help get Spurs back into the Champions League and end their long wait for a trophy.
