Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Radu Dragusin over the past few weeks. Indeed, speculation has intensified massively since the opening of the transfer window.
Most of the speculation suggests that Spurs have been in talks with Genoa over Dragusin. However, there have been conflicting reports over the fee and how far negotiations are.
One of the latest reports from Italy suggests that Tottenham are set for a transfer summit with the Serie A club ‘in the next few hours’ over the 21-year-old centre-back.
The report – from La Repubblica – claims that Genoa value Dragusin at €30million, or just under £26million. They’ll hope to edge closer to an agreement with Spurs.

However, Tottenham are not the only club in the race for the Romania international. Apparently, Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentiis is keeping a close eye on the situation too.
However, in a boost for Spurs, the reigning Serie A champions reportedly deem Genoa’s valuation for Dragusin “excessive”.
Tottenham seem to be on the right track for Radu Dragusin signing
We’ve been seeing a lot of movement on the Tottenham and Dragusin front in recent days.
Hopefully it won’t be long before we get the “here we go” and then it’s on the home straight before the official announcement.
Dragusin is an exciting defensive talent who has experience at the highest level – Serie A and senior international – and also plenty of potential to get even better.
A few years ago, Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout deemed Dragusin a “complete and dominant” centre-back. Since then, he has kicked on, and now his big career breakthrough awaits.
Will it be at Tottenham Hotspur? Let’s see in the coming weeks – maybe even days.
