Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Radu Dragusin in recent weeks and speculation has really intensified lately.
For instance, Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Genoa defender has agreed terms with Spurs and is keen on making the move to N17.
Tottenham reportedly remain in talks with the Serie A club over a fee for Dragusin, one of the most exciting young defenders in Europe.
On Tuesday, Sky Sports journalist Mark McAdam provided an update on the state of play involving Spurs and the Romania international.
The reporter says there’s a gap of just €5million (around £4.5million) between Tottenham and Genoa in terms of valuation for a player he says is “the right profile” for Spurs.

“Spurs are interested in Genoa centre-back Radu Dragusin,” McAdam said on the Transfer Show.
“The 21-year-old Romanian is a product of the Juventus youth system and joined Genoa permanently in the summer after spending one season on loan at the club.
“The Serie A club want in excess of €30m, however Tottenham want to try to get a deal between €20m and €25m. There’s not a big gap in the valuation.
“He’s young, quick, athletic so he’s the right profile for Tottenham. He can work with Ange, be moulded and develop. He’s been around good pedigree of coaches having been at Juventus.
“You can see this deal escalating quite quickly.”
Tottenham moving quickly to get Radu Dragusin signing over the line
It’s good to see Tottenham hitting the ground running in the January transfer window and pushing to bring a new centre-back on board.
With Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven both on the sidelines, the watertight defence that helped Spurs shine early in the season has been a lot more rickety.
Dragusin is a good shout for Tottenham. He’s been impressing in Serie A, is young, very talented, and crucially, seems available at a time when many clubs don’t want to lose their top players.
A few years ago, Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout deemed Dragusin a “complete and dominant” centre-back. And since then, the player has gone from strength to strength.
Tottenham have struck gold in recent years when it comes to signing talented young gems and turning them into stars.
Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie, Dejan Kulusevski… could Radu Dragusin be next?
