Tottenham reportedly want to sign player for 'almost nothing', Paratici raved about him back in 2019

Tottenham reportedly want Juventus ace Aaron Ramsey, the second time Fabio Paratici has got the Welshman. Of course, Paratici was behind the free agent signing of Ramsey from Arsenal in 2019. Now, Paratici wants Ramsey again, and his comments from 2019 will surely excite Tottenham fans.

Ramsey, 30, joined Tottenham after starring during an 11-year stint at Arsenal. The Welshman clocked up an enormous 371 appearances for the Gunners – producing 130 goal involvements. But at Juventus, he has just 12 in 65, scoring six and creating six. He has a contract at Juve until 2023.

TuttoJuve claims Paratici is keen re-signing Ramsey – this time for Tottenham – for ‘almost nothing’. Speaking about Ramsey back in 2019, the transfer specialist said that Juventus had no one like Ramsey, no one with the technical ability in the middle of the park that Ramsey boasts.

“We’ve got him, but he’s a different player to the others we have,” Paratici said, as per Juve FC. “We don’t have another player like him in our squad. He has more technique than our midfielders but less versatile. He’s a man for the final pass and he has an eye for goal. He runs a lot.”

Most Important Player At EVERY Premier League Team

Does Ramsey improve Tottenham – amid Paratici comments?

Without a doubt. Forgetting North London rivalry, and wages, Ramsey is a top player that improves most European sides. His Juventus form has not been the best, but at Tottenham, where he is a big fish in a smaller pond again – he would shine. Spurs have got to chance their arm on Ramsey.

The likelihood is, though, that Ramsey turns Tottenham down. The rivalry is a feisty one between the North London sides and to play the best part of 400 for one, surely rules out a move to the other. A good signing, likely to be a bargain, but one that is probably out of Tottenham and Paratici’s reach.
