Tottenham Hotspur kick off their Champions League campaign against Marseille on Wednesday – and here is our predicted lineup for the game in North London.
Antonio Conte faces some tough decisions ahead of the contest. Spurs have an intense couple of weeks ahead. And it is going to be a gruelling couple of months for the squad, particularly those who will be involved on international duty later this month.

With that in mind, Conte may be tempted to rotate against Marseille. Tottenham face Manchester City on Saturday.
However, he will also be keen to get off to a good start in the Champions League too. He has also not done a lot of rotating, with nine players starting at least five of their opening six Premier League games.

And with that, he may be wary of taking chances on the likes of Oliver Skipp and Matt Doherty. The pair went into this season with injuries. And Doherty’s brief opening day cameo was the only minutes either player has had so far.
There will likely be some changes from the win over Fulham. Ben Davies may replace Clement Lenglet. Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic could get the nod ahead of Ryan Sessegnon.
And further forward, Richarlison may drop out for Dejan Kulusevski.
There may also be a change in midfield, with Yves Bissouma coming in. Bissouma did not have the best time against West Ham. But that would allow the crucial Rodrigo Bentancur to be even fresher for the clash with City this weekend.
Tottenham predicted lineup against Marseille
But ultimately, it may well feel like an extremely familiar Tottenham side. Conte would surely be wise to try and get the points on the board in their group before making drastic changes.
And he would surely love nothing more than to get off to a flyer tonight. That would allow him to take some of his key players off as early as possible ahead of the weekend.
With that in mind, here is our predicted lineup in full…
