Tottenham players who could be in action this weekend including 'extraordinary' 18-year-old

Tottenham Hotspur are not in Premier League action this weekend.

Antonio Conte’s Spurs were scheduled to take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

However, the Premier League has postponed matchday seven following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

A statement from the league’s official website on Friday read: “At a meeting this morning, Premier League clubs paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“To honour her extraordinary life and contribution to the nation, and as a mark of respect, this weekend’s Premier League match round will be postponed, including Monday evening’s game.”

Arsenal have a number of players out on loan overseas whose clubs will be – or have been – in action this weekend.

Let’s take a look at which senior players on the Tottenham books could be playing.

Tanguy Ndombele

The Tottenham midfielder is currently on loan at Serie A side Napoli.

His current club will host Spezia on Saturday in a 2pm BST kickoff.

Ndombele has made three league appearances for Napoli so far, one of which was a start.

The Spurs man was also an unused substitute against Liverpool in the Champions League.

Sergio Reguilon

The Tottenham defender is currently on loan at La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

He is currently recovering from a groin injury and is yet to feature for the Spanish giants.

Atletico host Celta Vigo at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday night, 8pm BST kickoff.

Giovani Lo Celso

The Tottenham midfielder is currently on loan at La Liga side Villarreal.

The Yellow Submarines take on Real Betis away on Sunday night, 8pm BST kickoff.

Lo Celso has made four appearances for Villarreal this season, opening his 2022-23 account against Elche last week.

Joe Rodon

The Tottenham defender is currently on loan at Ligue 1 side Rennes.

Rodon’s current side is in league action against Auxerre at home on Sunday, 4:05pm BST kickoff.

The Welshman has been a regular at the back for his new club.

Rodon netted his first goal for them in their recent victory over Brest.

Destiny Udogie

The Tottenham summer signing is currently on loan at Serie A side Udinese, who Spurs bought him from.

Udogie and his teammates travel to Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon, with the game kicking off at 2pm BST.

The teenager with “extraordinary qualities” has two goals this season and scored against Roma last time out.

Harry Winks

The midfielder is currently on loan at Serie A side Sampdoria.

They take on AC Milan in a 7:45pm kickoff on Saturday, but Winks is not in the matchday squad.

Calciomercato reported that the 26-year-old has an ankle injury at present.

Apparently, he is also not there in terms of his physical condition just yet.
