Tottenham plan to submit a bid for Juventus defender Dean Huijsen – who has already rejected Arsenal.
That is according to Tutto Juve.
So, what is the situation involving Tottenham and Dean Huijsen? Let’s take a look…
Tottenham want Dean Huijsen
Well – according to Tutto Juve – Spurs are huge admirers of the Netherlands U19 international.
The Italian news outlet believe Tottenham are ready to make a €30m (£26m) offer to sign Huijsen – who is also attracting interest from Manchester United.
A story from Calciomercato added that Arsenal were also keen to sign the defender last summer, although the 18-year-old appeared to reject the Gunners.
Huijsen told Voetbal Zone: “I am actually in a really good place here. I therefore think it makes no sense to change clubs. (Juventus) have a clear plan with me regarding the step up to the first team.”

The teenager was then loaned to Roma for the 2023/24 campaign, where he has performed well with one goal in six Serie A appearances.
Who is Dean Huijsen?
Some readers may not know much about Huijsen given his lack of senior experience in football – if that is the case, a comparison to a more popular figure wouldn’t go amiss.
Interestingly, the Dutchman has been compared to Liverpool No.4 Virgil van Dijk along with a number of other top central defenders.

It was Alex Santisteban – the teenager’s agent – who made the comparison, stating that his client’s playing style is born from the traits of Giorgio Chiellini, Sergio Ramos, Van Dijk and Matthijs de Ligt, as quoted by Football Italia.
Tottenham are also looking at Fulham No.4 Tosin Adarabioyo – according to Calciomercato – with Ange Postecoglou seemingly keen on signing another central defender this summer.
