Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading the race to sign Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior in January.
That’s according to The Evening Standard, with the outlet sharing an update on Tottenham’s plans for the winter transfer window.
Ange Postecoglou is expected to be busy in January as he looks to strengthen his squad due to an ongoing injury crisis at Tottenham.
Spurs look set to dip into the market for a new centre-back following the injury to summer signing Micky van de Ven. But they could also be on the lookout for another forward player, with Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic currently sidelined.
Indeed, Samuel Iling-Junior is one name who has been heavily linked with a move to North London, with Spurs recently scouring the player.
The 20-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Juventus and it seems that Tottenham are leading the race to sign him.

Tottenham leading race for Iling-Junior
The Standard reports that Iling-Junior is attracting interest from Spurs ahead of the January window.
Juve have made the winger available for £15.5 million and he has just over 18 months left on his current deal.
Iling-Junior is apparently keen to play more regularly and Spurs are leading the race to snap him up in January.

The Juve winger has been described as an ‘excellent’ prospect and has earned three caps for England Under-21s. He’s struggled for minutes this season though, having only made four appearances in Serie A.
Spurs are in need of extra depth on the left-hand side after losing both Solomon and Perisic to injury.
Iling-Junior has shown plenty of promise after leaving Chelsea’s academy set-up for Turin in 2020.
Tottenham have benefited massively from taking unwanted Juve players in the past, with both Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski excelling in North London.
