Tottenham are busy looking at what moves they can make in the next couple of transfer windows and are apparently now keen on Patrick Dorgu.

Dorgu, 19, is another left-back emerging in Serie A and has already drawn comparisons to another Tottenham player, Destiny Udogie, for his development and playing style.

Currently with Italian side Lecce, Dorgu has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the last few months.

However, Danish outlet TipsBladet now claims that both Tottenham and Chelsea are keen on making a move for Dorgu as well.

Tottenham interest in signing Patrick Dorgu

Spurs are looking to constantly evolve under Ange Postecoglou and it looks like they have eyes on young and dynamic players.

The signing of Udogie will have opened their eyes to some of the talent that is available in the Serie A market. Indeed, the signings of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have also proven to be big success stories.

For Dorgu, a move to the Premier League would be a massive opportunity for him. Naturally, a move to Tottenham would raise questions, given they have Udogie in the same position anyway.

However, there is no doubting that Dorgu is a player of big ability. And for the £13m or so that’s being reported in terms of a transfer fee, it could be a bargain buy.

Tottenham are continuing to impress under Big Ange and adding more players who can get up and down the pitch like Dorgu seems a logical strategy.

Certainly, it seems this is one to watch for Spurs fans, who could see their club in a tussle of PL clubs to land the youngster.
