Perhaps some Tottenham Hotspur fans do still wonder about what Ange Postecoglou may have achieved with Harry Kane still around this season.
Spurs are flying under their new boss despite the departure of their talismanic captain who is doing just as well as expected in the Bundesliga.

Postecoglou decided not to sign a superstar replacement for Kane, opting to share the responsibility of replacing the striker’s output among his whole squad.
Son Heung-min has once again taken a starring role, matching some of his best performances in a Tottenham shirt.
Although, Son is now fairly atypical to the squad Postecoglou is building at Tottenham.
The 31-year-old is now the leader of a young team bursting with potential.
And such has been his improvement since his new manager came in, Dejan Kulusevski is now considered Spurs’ most valuable player.
According to the CIES Football Observatory’s new list, Kulusevksi is now worth £86m at Tottenham Hotspur, which places him above Harry Kane (£82m).
That may come as a surprise to some Spurs fans, but at 23-years-old the Swede is still showing a lot of room for growth.
Incidentally, Destin Udogie was considered the second most valuable Tottenham player on the list, with Cristian Romero in third.
Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski now considered more valuable than Harry Kane
Whether fans will agree with those valuations or not, it’s clear that Kulusevski will be key to Postecoglou’s future plans.
The winger has often played centrally this season whilst James Maddison has been injured.

But with the England international now expected back later this month, Kulusevski will surely return out wide.
Spurs’ squad has been stretched thin this season, making January additions look particularly important.
Perhaps Tottenham’s biggest business will wait until the summer, when they could look to replace Harry Kane.
With that in mind, the club have made an enquiry for one Premier League striker who’s in red hot form this season.
And it’ll certainly be interesting to see if Postecoglou does make a move to add an attacker in January, with the club now redrawing their interest for a player they were considered favourites for.
