Tottenham could be in the market for a new goalkeeper in the coming transfer windows with Andre Onana of Ajax just one of the names likely to be mentioned.
Onana, 24, is highly-rated across Europe and was previously linked with a £25m move to Spurs back in April of this year.
Tottenham could seek a new goalkeeper over the coming seasons as Huge Lloris gets well into his 30s, with the French stopper now 33 and his current contract due to expire in the summer of 2022, per Transfermarkt.

Ajax stopper Onana, then, could be a viable option. Furthermore, reports from the Daily Mail yesterday suggest that the Nigerian is still desperate to pit his wits in the Premier League if the chance comes along.
However, Spurs fans will have got the chance to see Onana in action last night and if it was their first glimpse, there’ll be mixed feelings from north London when it comes to the Ajax man.
Big moments
The obvious issue for Onana last night was the glaring error which led to the goal for Curtis Jones. The 24-year-old completely misjudged the flight of a Neco Williams cross to allow Reds midfielder Jones to simply tap home.
It was, of course, an error of judgement and Onana immediately knew he was in the wrong in what could have been a big night for him in front of an English audience.

However, all is not lost for Onana and it would be silly to rule him out for Spurs over one game. He has played well in previous clashes with English clubs. Indeed, he has even impressed against Tottenham, while he showed his mettle against Chelsea, too.
Spurs, undoubtedly, need a new goalkeeper sooner or later. For now, Lloris and Joe Hart will do the job but long-term planning is what will keep the club near the top of the table under Mourinho.
Onana, then, despite a faltering audition, is still a viable option for the club should they look to make their move this summer.
