Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur and Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea are interested in signing Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan.

That is according to InterLive, which has noted how much Inter Milan want for Dumfries and has named another Premier League club that are keen on him.

Well, according to InterLive, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are interested in signing Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan in the January transfer window.

Manchester United are also reported to be keen on Dumfries, who can play as a right-back or as a right wing-back.

The report has claimed that Inter want as much as €50 million (£42.91 million) in transfer fees for the 27-year-old.

Tottenham are not willing to pay that much. Instead, Spurs are ready to include Emerson Royal in a cash-plus-player deal. The Brazilian has been linked with Real Madrid.

Both Tottenham and Chelsea were linked with Dumfries back in February 2023 as well.

Denzel Dumfries would make Tottenham or Chelsea better

In my view, Denzel Dumfries would make Tottenham Hotspur or Chelsea a better team. He is 27 now and is at the top of his game, and I believe that the Netherlands international would be able to make an immediate impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium or Stamford Bridge.

Dumfries has been a success for Inter in Serie A and in Europe. He knows how to defend properly and is also a threat going on the attack.

The Netherlands international has scored two goals and given three assists in 12 starts and one substitute appearance in Serie A this season. Dumfries has also provided one assist in three UEFA Champions League this campaign.

Tottenham and Chelsea are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, while Inter are looking to win Serie A.
