Tottenham Hotspur are now pushing to sign a ‘devastating’ £25m-rated striker this summer transfer window, according to a recent report.
The North Londoners have come on leaps and bounds since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival last summer and the style of play is much more exciting for much of the Spurs faithful.
A fifth-placed finish evinces that progress has been made but ultimately, supporters want to return to the illustrious Champions League.
To do that, they’ll need to sign a prolific striker to finally replace Harry Kane and they’ve just been linked with one.

Tottenham Hotspur pushing to sign Youssef En-Nesyri
According to journalist Santi Ortega, via Carrusel Deportivo, Tottenham are now pushing to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.
The 71-cap Morroco international has been heavily linked with West Ham United, with Julen Lopetegui having worked with him in the past.
Sevilla are thought to want £25m for the ‘devastating‘ forward who netted 20 times in 41 outings last term despite being in a struggling side.
En-Nesyri’s contract expires next year, so Sevilla will be eager to move him on this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Tottenham Hotspur should look elsewhere
Indeed, En-Nesyri’s goal record is impressive, however, his underlying statistics are a little underwhelming and he may not fit Postecoglou’s system.
According to FBref, the towering forward ranks in the bottom 19 per cent for pass completion compared to his positional peers across Europe.
That shows he isn’t really too involved in build-up play, which seems to go against the idea of a Postecoglou striker.
Further, En-Nesyri sits in the bottom one per cent for shot-creating actions, amplifying his poor playmaking ability.
Perhaps Spurs should look elsewhere.
