Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is “100 percent” available.

The Spurs boss was speaking to football.london ahead of the north Londoners’ trip to Bournemouth.

Hojbjerg was left out of Tottenham’s meeting with Newcastle last week due to fatigue.

Conte then reinstated the Denmark international to the starting XI for the Champions League draw with Sporting CP.

Cristian Romero, like Hojbjerg, was a doubt for the game, but he started too.

At Friday’s pre-match press conference, Conte admitted it was a “big, big risk” to start both players.

But while he suggested Romero may not start against Bournemouth, he hinted that Hojbjerg would be fine.

“I think Cuti needed to recover better but Pierre is okay 100 percent,” said Conte.

‘He’s doing everything’

Good news for Tottenham about Hojbjerg, whose energy and tenacity make him a key player in the Spurs XI.

Recently, Hojbjerg was described as ‘incredible’ by Son Heung-min.

The Tottenham forward said after the recent win over Eintracht Frankfurt: “Pierre has been very important for the team. He’s doing everything in the middle of the pitch.

“He wins the ball and gives the ball to the attacking players. He’s going forward and scoring goals. He’s doing everything.

“I have an unbelievable relationship with Pierre. He’s such a good guy, an amazing guy. To have him around is just incredible.

“I’m very happy that he’s having that improvement, I think that’s important for him and to watch him is a joy.”

TBR prediction: Bournemouth 0 – 1 Tottenham

Both Tottenham and Bournemouth are looking to get back to winning ways.

Both have also lost two and drawn one of their last three games respectively.

Bournemouth tend not to concede many at home, but they don’t tend to score many either.

However, they are likely to be more vulnerable at the back without Neto, who’s out for the long-term.

So we reckon Tottenham will have just enough to record a narrow victory – let’s call it 1-0.
