German newspaper Bild claim Bayern Munich would be willing to sell Corentin Tolisso for a bargain fee of just £8.5million. The French World Cup winner has fallen out of favour at Bayern after a tricky spell with injuries. West Ham are keen, but Tottenham Hotspur need him just as much.
Tolisso, 27, has entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Bundesliga champions. Joining the club in the summer of 2017 from Bayern, he started well in his first season but an ACL injury limited him to just four games in 2018-19. Since then, Tolisso has been in and out of the Bayern side.
The report states that Tolisso has interest from all over Europe – with West Ham labelled as a club looking to bring him to the Premier League in the coming months. The report says Bayern are willing to let him go for just £8.5million. But do Tottenham need to elbow David Moyes aside?

Why Tottenham is a better fit for Tolisso – over West Ham…
Both clubs need central midfielders. West Ham need additions in the middle of the park as they look to go far in the Europa League. But Tottenham need replacements. Tanguy Ndombele could go, Moussa Sissoko is wanted by Fenerbahce. Spurs need a midfielder to partner Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
One that has the attacking capabilities, goals, assists and technicality of Ndombele – but the work rate of Harry Winks. A combination of both. Tolisso is that man and at £8.5million, Spurs have got to beat West Ham in the race to get him. Of course, the lack of Europe might affect his decision.
But Spurs have better facilities, a better stadium, a better squad and a bigger budget. Tottenham and Fabio Paratici have got take advantage of Bayern selling Tolisso on the cheap and see him reunite with his 2018 World Cup teammates in Sissoko and Hugo Lloris, even if they could leave soon.
French newspaper L’Equipe said in 2017 that Mauricio Pochettino tried to sign Tolisso – and now, Paratici can get the French midfielder.
