Tottenham fans react to reports linking Ndombele with Barcelona

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports claiming that Barcelona are set to make a loan bid for Tanguy Ndombele in January with Spurs ready to let him leave.

Tottenham supporters are probably incredibly intrigued to see what happens with the Frenchman over the coming months.

On his day, there are not many better players in the Spurs squad. He has the ability to be an absolutely outstanding talent.

However, he has previously struggled at times under a host of managers, including Nuno Espirito Santo. So it will be fascinating to see how he now gets on working with Antonio Conte.

According to Sport, the relationship may not last too long. They report that Conte wants Franck Kessie at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. And with that, Ndombele is set to be made available.

The report suggests that Barca plan to make a loan bid for the 24-year-old. It is suggested that managerial candidate Xavi wants to strengthen in midfield.

It is a surprise to see Ndombele linked with the exit. He was arguably one of the few shining lights of Nuno’s tenure.

If Conte can get the best out of him, he could be a huge player for Spurs in the years to come. And it seems difficult to imagine that the Italian has already made a decision on his future.

With that in mind, plenty of Spurs fans do not believe that he is Barcelona-bound. They have certainly implored Tottenham to ensure that he does not leave.
