Adrien Rabiot started during France’s 1-0 win over Germany on Tuesday night at Euro 2020 – and some Tottenham fans on Twitter were left underwhelmed by the individual performance from the Frenchman.
Juventus midfielder Rabiot is someone who’s receiving links with Spurs recently.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, as relayed by The Boot Room, Spurs are interested in signing the 26-year-old.
Rabiot received an impressive 7.26 rating last night from WhoScored for his display. In addition, central midfielder played a box-to-box role where he impacted in both halves of the pitch.
Interest from Spurs has emerged after a strong campaign with Italian giants Juventus. In which, he was a mainstay in the XI and had eight direct goal contributions in 47 appearances.

Tottenham fans say Rabiot is no better than Tanguy Ndombele
Unfortunately, it’s difficult for Rabiot to shine in a France XI when he’s next to N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba in the centre of the park.
However, the left-footer does still have great technical ability.
A selection of Spurs supporters on social media though feel the Juventus ace isn’t as good as what they’ve already got on their books.
Tanguy Ndomeble, who was left out of the France squad for this summer’s Euro 2020, is a 24-year-old box-to-box central midfielder.
It’s easy to see where the comparison comes from with Rabiot, but current Spurs man Ndombele has more flair and trickery.
