Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Etienne Green reports
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from TEAMtalk claiming that Spurs are one of the sides keen on signing Etienne Green.
Tottenham may need to bolster their goalkeeping options in the coming months. Hugo Lloris is currently set to be out of contract at the end of the campaign.
Pierluigi Gollini meanwhile, is only on loan in North London. So there are no guarantees over his long-term future with the club.
With that in mind, Spurs are seemingly looking at potential options elsewhere. And one of the players reportedly on their radar is Green.
Of course, the striking thing about the 21-year-old is that he plays for Saint-Etienne. But he is also playing regularly in Ligue 1, starting eight times this season.
Meanwhile, he also recently made his debut for England’s under-21s. He was born in Colchester before moving to France as a youngster.
In fact, he was in France’s under-21 squad earlier this year.
The reports have been met with a lot of positive reaction on social media. Obviously, and understandably, plenty of fans are taken by the fact that a player with his name is attached to the club he is with.
