A report from Football London’s Alasdair Gold claims that Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo has informed Joe Hart he can leave. Spurs are about to confirm the signing of Pierluigi Gollini on a loan-to-buy deal from Atalanta. Tottenham fans have discussed Hart’s future, following the report.

Hart, 34, joined Spurs last summer on a two-year deal after the 75-time England international was let go by Burnley. Last season, he was back-up to Hugo Lloris. 10 appearances came his way in all competitions, keeping five clean sheets and conceding eight. But he did not play once in the league.

What are Tottenham fans saying about Hart?

Now, Spurs are closing in on a deal to sign Gollini on loan. The deal is an initial loan with a £13million permanent clause. That clause becomes an obligation if he plays 20 times in all competitions – and Spurs have the option for a second season loan. It makes Hart firmly third choice.

Football London report that he might not even be third, given he would be competing with Alfie Whiteman who has impressed in pre-season. Gold claims he has been told he can leave this summer, and is not part of Nuno’s plans. Tottenham fans have reacted, and are seemingly undecided on Hart.
