Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to table an offer of £50million to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde this summer. The Frenchman has been excellent for the Spanish side over the past two seasons. Tottenham fans have reacted to the news of a bid for Kounde, urging a deal to be done.
Kounde, 22, has emerged as a target for Spurs after starring in the colours of Sevilla since joining the club in the summer of 2019 from Bordeaux. Clocking up 89 appearances, he has helped Sevilla finish in the top four of La Liga again. That is, after winning the Europa League title last term.
Spanish website La Colina De Nervion claim that Tottenham will table a £50million offer to sign Kounde. The French ace is being labelled a priority for Tottenham this summer under Nuno Espirito Santo. However, Kounde has a release clause in his deal worth £68.5million.

Sevilla want a fee closer to to that clause. But Spurs are about to table an offer. It will make the Frenchman the club’s second most-expensive signing – after Tanguy Ndombele. Tottenham desperately need a centre-back this summer, with Toby Alderweireld potentially set to go.
