Arsenal are looking to sign a right-back this summer and reports claim they could raid Atletico Madrid for England defender Kieran Trippier. The Euro 2020 finalist remains a crucial part of Diego Simeone’s side. Tottenham fans have discussed Arsenal eyeing ex-Spurs ace Trippier this summer.
Trippier, 30, joined Atleti in the summer of 2019 from Tottenham – after the England defender clocked up 114 appearances for Spurs. But a season after the Champions League final defeat, the defender moved to La Liga. It was a move that paid Trippier, as Simeone guided Atleti to the title last season.

What have Tottenham fans said about Arsenal looking at Trippier?
The Sun claim that Hector Bellerin is expected to leave and Arsenal need a replacement. Trippier has been identified as the man to come in, but Arsenal are only willing to pay £20million. Atleti want as much as £34million despite Trippier now in his thirties. He has a contract until 2023.
Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Arsenal reportedly wanting one of their old stars in Trippier. Of course, Tottenham themselves could do with a right-back – as Matt Doherty struggles and Serge Aurier remains in the final 12 months of his contract. Tottenham fans have had their say.
