A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news confirming that Jurgen Klopp will face no further action after his comments following Spurs’ draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

Tottenham played out a stunning 2-2 draw with the Reds in North London. The game had everything, including a number of contentious decisions from referee Paul Tierney.

Klopp was left incensed after Harry Kane was not dismissed during the first-half after a poor challenge on Andy Robertson. Certainly, it appeared that the Spurs forward was lucky to only get a yellow card. Klopp was also booked for his reaction.

His frustration only increased when Tierney sent Robertson off during the second-half. Robertson took a nasty swipe at Emerson Royal. And the Scot was shown a red after Tierney was instructed to go and look at the screen.

At the full-time whistle, Klopp went over to the officials. Sky Sports notes that he apparently told Tierney that he is the only referee he has a problem with.

Tierney did not have the best day. But most have surely expected Klopp to receive some sort of punishment from the FA having been booked and then confronting the officials after the game.

But Sky Sports confirms that Klopp will face no further action. And that has left plenty of Tottenham fans feeling baffled.
