Tottenham reportedly remain interested in PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko, though they face competition from Brentford for the youngster.
The Belgian international has been one of the breakout names in Europe this year, with Bakayoko playing a key role in getting PSV back into the UEFA Champions League for this season.
And now, according to Sky Sports News, Tottenham are interested in Bakayoko once again having been linked with the 20-year-old in the summer transfer window.

However, as per the report, the north London side face competition from Brentford for Bakayoko, with the Bees keen to make an ambitious move for the PSV superstar.
With attackers clearly on Ange Postecoglou’s mind heading into the January window, Postecoglou could be a sensational signing for the Premier League title contenders.
And whilst Brentford could be appealing to Bakayoko, Tottenham’s reputation and potential European status for next season should be to secure the Belgian’s signature in the January window.
Tottenham must beat Brentford to Johan Bakayoko

At 20-years-old, the world is at Bakayoko’s feet after establishing himself as one of Europe’s most exciting wingers and an attacker who can become a real force with the right club.
And that team could be Tottenham, who would be an ideal destination for Bakayoko as Spurs look to rebuild for the future in the January transfer window.
With Postecoglou also an expect at developing attackers, the Tottenham manager could be a dream mentor for Bakayoko, who could flourish under the Australian coach.
Add in European football for next year and a shot at silverware, and there’s no reason why Tottenham can’t beat Brentford to Bakayoko’s signature in the January transfer window.
