Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly working on a deal to bring Inter Milan striker, Lautaro Martinez, to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.
Martinez is one of the hottest properties in European football and played a key role in Antonio Conte’s side that won the Serie A title. The Argentinian striker rattled in 19 goals last term and has another 12 this season for Inter.

And according to reports from Italy, Martinez is firmly on the radar of Tottenham this summer. Tuttomercatoweb claims that Martinez is on the list of players Fabio Paratici is trying to sign for Spurs. Further, it’s suggested that the club are already working at getting a deal done at this very moment. It’s reported by TMW that Antonio Conte would welcome the striker to North London with open arms.
Martinez, 24, is highly thought of in Argentina. Indeed, as we reported on TBR before, legendary striker Hernan Crespo had tipped the Inter man to become the ‘next Aguero’ if he continued to perform.
TBR’s View: Martinez To Tottenham Would Be Huge
If there was a transfer that would satisfy Antonio Conte, then bringing Martinez to Tottenham would be right up there you feel.
Of course, the issue remains around Harry Kane. His future could well dictate a number of things in the transfer market. But even if Kane is stay, signing Martinez would be no bad thing.
This is a striker who has everything in the locker. He is already at a top level and is touching on being in the bracket of the very best in the world. If Spurs did pull this off, then it would send quite the statement to the rest of the PL.
