Ivan Toney’s future remains a key talking point within the Premier League.
The Brentford striker has returned from injury to great effect in recent weeks, and, as you can imagine, many top Premier League clubs are on alert.
The likes of Arsenal and Chelsea have been strongly linked, but towards the end of the January transfer window, there was some talk about Tottenham getting involved in this race come the summer.
Interestingly, Toney has just received some special praise from a true Tottenham legend in the shape of Ledley King.
Indeed, speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, King has been discussing Toney’s return to action and he’s been very impressed by the impact he’s already made.

King impressed by Toney
The pundit spoke about the £60m striker.
“Yeah you can see the difference he makes, he is their talisman, whether he’s flicking the ball on, his hold up play or his finishing, it’s all top notch. He’s been sorely missed from Brentford this season and you can see the difference he can make,” King said.
Seal of approval
If Tottenham fans were questioning whether or not Toney would be a good signing, this should tell them all they need to know.
A seal of approval from King is about as good as a seal of approval from anyone.
Tottenham fans know just how incredible a player King was back in his day, and if he says that a striker is a quality player, he knows what he’s talking about.
King played against some of the greatest strikers in history during his playing career, and if he says Toney is a top notch player, he must have something special about him.
