‘They’re flat’: TalkSPORT pundit shares who has the louder fans – Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United

TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have much louder fans than Manchester United.

It’s an unsurprising opinion from the former Spurs midfielder, who was answering questions ahead of their clash tonight.

Antonio Conte’s side will be hoping they have a noisy travelling contingent following his team up to Old Trafford this evening.

Both sides come into the game in good form, having only lost one of their last five league matches.

Manchester United’s slow start to the season sees them sitting seven points behind Spurs ahead of tonight’s match.

Tottenham will be without two of their attacking stars, with Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski both ruled out.

Ivan Perisic could fill in as a winger tonight and give Tottenham fans something to shout about.

Tottenham have louder fans – O’Hara

O’Hara was asked a number of Spurs or United questions, and gave a predictable array of answers.

He backed Conte’s side to win a trophy before Erik ten Hag’s team and said Spurs had a better squad.

When asked about which team had the louder fanbase, O’Hara said: “Tottenham fans, yeah, when it’s rocking. Old Trafford’s flat, last few seasons they’re flat as a pancake.”

Another dilemma Conte faces ahead of tonight’s match is whether to start Yves Bissouma.

The summer signing from Brighton has struggled to break into Conte’s starting line-up.

However, he made a fantastic impact against Everton at the weekend, completely changing the game.

It’s up to the Italian manager to decide whether he wants to change his system to incorporate Bissouma.

The alternative is to give Perisic, or one his lesser seen attackers such as Lucas Moura or Bryan Gil a place in the starting line-up.

Whoever appears in the starting line-up will have a loud set of Tottenham fans to back them, according to O’Hara.
