Sky Sports commentator Don Goodman was left amazed by Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma’s display last night.
Spurs picked up yet another win in the Premier League as they beat Everton 2-0 in north London.
It was a difficult night for Spurs as Frank Lampard’s men defended resolutely. The Toffees arguably created the best openings in the first 45 minutes, but Demarai Gray and Amadou Onana put both of their efforts over Hugo Lloris’ goal.
Antonio Conte’s men had to be incredibly patient and the introduction of Bissouma for the injured Richarlison in the second-half seemed to swing the game in their favour.

The 26-year-old provided Spurs with an extra man in midfield and it certainly benefited them as they started to test Jordan Pickford regularly.
And Goodman was blown away by the impact Bissouma had on the game after coming on in the 53rd minute.
Sky commentator amazed by Bissouma display
Sky Sports displayed a statistic in the 71st minute that showed Spurs managed eight shots after Bissouma was introduced. Five of them were on target, with one being Harry Kane’s opener from the spot.
Conte’s men had managed no shots on goal beforehand and co-commentator Goodman hailed Bissouma for changing the game.
“Talk about an impact,” Goodman said on Sky Sports.
“Those eight shots in the second-half since he’s come on – all of them in 18 minutes. That’s the influence he’s had on this game.
“We said didn’t we, it was such a long period where it was just that little piece of brilliance from Harry Kane that was the only thing Jordan Pickford had to deal with. Very different in the second-half.”

Bissouma was handed a start last weekend against his former side Brighton as Conte changed his system.
The Mali international impressed in Spurs’ 1-0 win over the Seagulls but dropped back to bench against Frankfurt and the Toffees.
But he made a huge impact on the game last night as his role allowed Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to advance further up the pitch. This actually helped Spurs secure the three points in the 86th minute as the pair linked up for the Dane’s goal.
With Richarlison looking set for a spell on the sidelines and Dejan Kulusevski missing last night’s game, Conte may now be forced to stick with the 3-5-2 system.
Bissouma could be in line for his third start in a Spurs shirt against Manchester United on Wednesday evening.
