Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to Aston Villa confirming that they have reached an agreement to sign Leon Bailey from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 23-year-old has been a highly sought after player this summer, with Wolves and Everton also previously looking at his talents.

But it seems as though he will be playing in Villa colours next season, as they confirmed on their official Twitter account on Saturday.

Wolves fans have praised Villa for the work they are doing, not during this transfer window, but in previous years also.

There’s that obvious cloud over B6 that their star man, Jack Grealish, could be heading for the exit door.

It has been well-documented over recent days that Manchester City have submitted a £100 million bid for the Villa player, as reported by Sky Sports.

And whilst Dean Smith may lose his ball-carrying expert, they have the excitement of looking forward to watching Bailey in action.

Wolves fans have compared Villa’s business to the work they have done and they made it pretty clear that their rivals are doing the better job.

From Emi Buendia to Ezri Konsa, Villa have scouted the market in an outstanding fashion since their promotion, so going by previous success, there’s no reason why the Bailey signing doesn’t work out.

It needs to be remembered that the Leverkusen star still needs to agree to personal terms with Villa and then complete a medical.
