'There really is a god': Leeds fans delighted as Kiko Casilla nears move to Elche
Leeds United fans have been having their say on social media after reports suggested that Kiko Casilla could be on his way out of the club.
As reported on TBR yesterday, the Mirror has claimed that Casilla has reached an agreement with the Spanish side. Leeds have agreed to the deal, which will see the experienced stopper depart Elland Road.
Casilla will leave the club as one of the key reasons for the club winning promotion back to the Premier League. Sadly, his reputation was tarnished somewhat, both in performances on and off the field.
Naturally, Leeds fans have been having their say on Casilla’s departure on Twitter and it’s safe to say the majority are happy to see him go.
The only issue with Casilla leaving is that Leeds must now work to bring in someone to challenge and work with Illan Meslier. The young stopper is outstanding, but needs a senior pro with him.
However, the didn’t seem to concern too many Whites fans. Among the raft of comments on Twitter, there was plenty who couldn’t wait to see the back of Casilla.
Here, then, is a look at what some Leeds fans had to say as Kiko Casilla looks set to depart for Elche.

Adam this is the best thing for the club and Kiko personally he’s been poor and Meslier will take some shifting now.
