Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Leandro Trossard in recent days.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte has been looking for attacking reinforcements amid injuries to his front line this season.
Injuries to Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski have left the Tottenham manager short in attack.

On Monday, the Daily Mail reported that Spurs have accelerated their interest in signing Trossard.
The Belgium international is Brighton’s joint-top scorer this season with seven goals, as well as three assists.
He has been with the Seagulls since the summer of 2019, so he has plenty of Premier League experience.
However, Trossard appears to be falling out of favour under new manager Roberto De Zerbi.
He wasn’t in the matchday squad for the FA Cup win over Middlesbrough, and was only on the bench against Everton in the league.
‘A little bit of unease’
Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth issued the latest on the Trossard to Spurs speculation on Tuesday.
“Regarding the forward position, Leandro Trossard is one of the players they are looking at,” he said on The Transfer Show (10/1/23, 17:26).
“He has a contract at Brighton until the summer but there is an option of a further year.
“There just seems to be a little bit of unease right now between manager Roberto De Zerbi and Trossard where he is perhaps questioning performances and his effort in training.”

‘He can work harder’
Prior to the 5-1 win over Boro, De Zerbi said: “I want players to work for the team and the squad on the pitch.
“And Leandro knows very well my opinion and my idea. I spoke a lot of times with him.”
“I like him as a player but I want more from him because he can play better, he can work harder, he can run more on the pitch, and I want players who give 100% always in every training session and every game.
“Without this characteristic or these things, they can’t play with me.”
Trossard’s contract now reportedly runs until 2024 after Brighton triggered a one-year option, as per 90Min.
This means they won’t lose him for nothing in the summer, and ensures the likes of Tottenham will have to pay a decent fee.
With Trossard seemingly falling out of favour at the Amex Stadium, Spurs may well fancy their chances of signing him this month.
