Arsenal legend Freddie Ljungberg has heaped praise on Emile Smith Rowe and believes that the youngster can go all the way to the top.
The 21-year-old has been one of Arsenal’s best players since Mikel Arteta turned to him on Boxing Day 2020. Smith Rowe has often carried the Gunners and he is their top scorer this season even though he has only started once in their last eight Premier League games.
Ljungberg knows the youngster very well thanks to his time at Arsenal. It was the Swede who handed Smith Rowe his Premier League debut and he is delighted to see how far he has come since.
Speaking on how far Smith Rowe can go, Ljungberg believes that there’s no limit and the only person who can stop the youngster is himself.
Freddie Ljungberg: Emile Smith Rowe can do it all
While unveiling Smith Rowe’s FIFA 22 Future Stars card, Ljungberg told the youngster: “There’s always something in my opinion [that you can work on] if you’re being a very critical coach.
“If you can just look at it from the outside and when I look at you, for example, you can do it all. You have the physical presence, you’re big, you have pace, you have technique, you have a good shot.
“So, in my opinion, there is no limit. The limit, I think, is you.”
