Journalist Enrico De Lellis claims Antonio Conte wants Tottenham Hotspur to sign Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen – who once said he idolises Harry Kane.
Osimhen has enjoyed two brilliant seasons in Serie A after making the switch to Naples from LOSC Lille in 2020.
The Nigerian striker netted 14 goals in 27 appearances last season and has already bagged four in eight during the current campaign.
And it seems the talented 23-year-old has caught the attention of Conte, who has apparently told Fabio Paratici to go and sign the player.

Conte wants Tottenham to sign Osimhen
De Lellis spoke to Calciomercato.it and spoke about Tottenham’s interest in Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.
But the Italian journalist says Conte prefers a move for Osimhen due to his suitability to Premier League football.
“In addition to his salary, he will have a budget of around €200m. There are rumours about Lautaro, but the real name that Conte told Paratici is Osimhen,” De Lellis said.
“The Napoli striker is also very popular with Bayern Munich and Manchester United, although the Germans closely follow Sesko as well. Their policy is to carry out operations under 100 million, consequently Osimhen is a secondary option.
“The Nigerian is the classic Premier League footballer and it turns out to be the real goal of Tottenham. But it will be necessary to understand his will: he is demanding for the future and not only from an economic point of view.” as transcribed by Sport Witness.

Conte seems to be in need of another striker in his squad, with Harry Kane being the only out-and-out centre-forward at the club.
Osimhen could be the ideal fit and he once told Corriere Dello Sport that he idolises the Tottenham striker.
He said: “I’m very happy at Napoli, I feel really good here. This city makes me happy.
“My inspirations are Harry Kane and Didier Drogba.”
At just 23, Osimhen could be the perfect profile of player to play alongside Kane and learn from him, before eventually filling the position.
But it will take a lot for Spurs to convince a striker like Osimhen to play a back-up role to Kane, something they have seemingly struggled with for some time now.
