Dino Klapija has turned down the chance to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal or Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.

That is according to The Daily Mail, which has named the club where Klapija is moving to.

So, what has been reported about Arsenal, Manchester United and Dino Klapija? Let’s take a look.

Dino Klapija decides against joining Arsenal or Manchester United

Well, according to The Daily Mail, Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing Dino Klapija in the January transfer window.

The report has claimed that Manchester United have been following the 17-year-old NK Kustosija centre-forward.

Arsenal are also keen on the teenager. The report has claimed that the Gunners had scouts watch his last three matches.

The North London club, who have been linked with AS Roma defender Leonardo Spinazzola, have been so keen on the Croatian teenager that they “made a case for Klapija’s family to move to London”.

However, according to The Daily Mail, Klapija and his family have decided to sign for RB Leipzig instead. They believe that the centre-forward would have a better chance of playing first-team football at the Bundesliga club.

RB Leipzig are paying a transfer fee of £4.8 million plus a 10% sell-on.

My View: Arsenal and Manchester United should continue to monitor Dino Klapija

In my view, Arsenal and Manchester United should continue to keep tabs on Dino Klapija at RB Leipzig.

Klapija is 17 now. He is not going to stay at Leipzig forever. Arsenal and Manchester United are much bigger clubs, and I believe that the Gunners and the Red Devils will be appealing to him in the future.

It will be interesting to see how Klapija does in the coming years and the impact he can make in the first team of Leipzig, who are on the verge of sending Timo Werner to Tottenham Hotspur on a loan deal.

Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, while Manchester United could struggle to even get into the top four.
