Gabriel Agbonlahor has slammed Kai Havertz’s latest performance for Arsenal, with the former Aston Villa striker claiming that the midfielder is getting worse.
Speaking on TalkSport, the pundit was critical of the 24-year-old’s display against Burnley, with Havertz again failing to make much of an impact despite a 3-1 win for the Gunners.
The attacking midfielder is yet to fully hit his stride with Arsenal since signing from Chelsea in a £65m deal, with Havertz scoring just once for Mikel Arteta’s side this season.

Despite that, Mikel Arteta has kept his faith in Havertz despite criticisms from supporters and pundits, with Arsenal looking disjointed at times with the German in the midfield.
Indeed, the former Chelsea man is clearly in need of a confidence boost, though Agbonlahor thinks Havertz is only getting worse with each passing game.
The pundit said: “There’s no confidence. He slows down attacks. He is playing in a comfort zone, and he is getting worse.”
Havertz will be itching to prove pundits wrong at Arsenal

Havertz’s start to life at Arsenal has hardly been ideal, yet given how short a time the German international has spent with the Gunners, time is certainly on the midfielder’s hands.
The 24-year-old is learning a new role and is slowly but surely getting used to his new position under Arteta, with most Arsenal fans willing to give Havertz the time needed to develop.
And with pundits coming out for the former Bayer Leverkusen star at every possible point, Havertz will want to prove critics wrong in a big way in his fledgling Arsenal career.
