A talkSPORT pundit has issued his Arsenal prediction ahead of the fast-approaching Premier League season.

Arsenal narrowly missed out on the Premier League title last term, finishing just two points behind Manchester City, who won it for the fourth time in a row.

The onus will now be on Mikel Arteta to go one better and many feel with a few additions, he’s more than capable of doing so.

With that said, a talkSPORT pundit has now issued their Arsenal prediction.

TalkSPORT pundit tips Arsenal to win the Premier League

TalkSPORT pundit and former professional footballer Tony Cascarino has tipped Arsenal to pip Manchester City to the Premier League title.

“If you asked the question to Pep Guardiola who does he feel that’s going to be the biggest danger next year, I think he would definitely say Arsenal,” Cascarino said.

“The way the club has been constructed, you can tell that something special is coming from them. I have gone for City quite a lot in recent years predictions of winning the title.

“That’s not rocket science. This is the first year that I actually think Arsenal will do it. I really believe they will do it this year.”

Arsenal still need a striker

To bridge the gap on Man City, Arsenal still need to sign a top-level striker this summer transfer window.

The Gunners are considering a move for Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres, who is believed to have an £86m release clause.

Ajax’s Brian Brobbey is also thought to be on their radar with a £30m price tag mooted, so he’d certainly be the cheaper option.

In other news, Arsenal now have an academy graduate who can become their very own David Silva.
