Arsenal fans have been having their say on social media once more as reports over the weekend suggested that Cedric Soares could be on the move.

Reports claimed that Turkish giants, Fenerbahce, are keen on landing the Portuguese star. Cedric played both left and right-back towards the back end of last season.

It’s also been suggested that Cedric could actually be Arsenal’s starting right-back when the season begins. The uncertain future of Hector Bellerin means Gunners boss Mikel Arteta faces making a big call at right-back.

Fenerbahce’s interest in Cedric does seem realistic. However, there are conflicting reports suggesting that the full-back actually wants to remain in North London and has little interest in moving on.

Naturally, Arsenal fans have been discussing Cedric’s potential departure on Twitter. And as is always the case, opinion is split on the former Southampton man.

While some feel selling the 29-year-old is a no-brainer, some believe Cedric is actually a useful squad player.
