Steven Gerrard has told The Telegraph that he is really excited to watch Jude Bellingham at the World Cup, insisting that he is a massive fan of the Liverpool target.
Bellingham is one player who many will be tipping for a real breakout tournament. He is only 18 years of age. And yet, he appears to be ready to shine on the biggest stage.

Bellingham is impressing for Borussia Dortmund, even captaining the side on some occasions. And he is going to attract some huge offers in the future.
Gerrard excited to watch Bellingham
Certainly, one of the sides who want Bellingham is Liverpool. 90min reported this week that the Reds scouted him in Dortmund’s final game before the World Cup break.

Jamie Carragher has previously told The Eleven that the teenager reminds him of Gerrard. And he suggested that he would love to see him at Anfield.
And it would appear that Gerrard himself feels a similar way. The former Aston Villa boss was discussing some of the players he is looking forward to seeing in Qatar. And he went on to pick out Bellingham.
“I’m really excited to watch Jude Bellingham. I’m a massive fan of him. I think that in the next 10, 15 years, he’s going to become an England superstar,” he told The Telegraph.
There is some pressure on Bellingham. Many England fans want to see him in Gareth Southgate’s starting lineup for the opening game against Iran.
However, he can go to the tournament and play with real freedom. Everyone will know that Bellingham is not the finished article just yet.
But he looks to be someone who can handle the weight of expectation. He could easily take the tournament by storm.
With that, his performances may determine just when Dortmund feel compelled to let him go. Sport suggested that his value could be as high as £131 million this week.
If he proves to be as good as he clearly can be, someone is surely going to be seriously tempted to meet those demands.
