Spurs are reportedly closing in on the signing of Bryan Gil.
According to Goal.com, Tottenham are in talks with Sevilla over a £25million deal for the playmaker.
Spurs are also looking to include Erik Lamela in the deal, added the outlet.
Gil reportedly has a €50million (£43million) release clause in his current contract.

However, Tottenham are apparently hoping to sign him for half that amount by including Lamela in the deal.
Sky Sports also claims the two clubs are in talks, adding that Spurs are “close to finalising a swap deal with Sevilla”.
Spurs director Fabio Paratici has been working hard in a bid to bolster the ranks at N17.
And if he gets the Gil deal over the line, Tottenham fans should be thrilled because he’s a top player.

Bryan Gil: The story so far
Gil came through the ranks at Sevilla and has made 21 senior appearances to date for the club.
The 20-year-old has taken in loan stints at Leganes and Eibar, and he was especially impressive in the latter.
Although he couldn’t prevent the Basque club from finishing bottom of La Liga, he stood out with his dynamic displays.
Gil recorded four goals and three assists in 28 La Liga games.
He has also made his debut for Spain, winning his first cap in a 1-1 World Cup qualifying draw with Greece.

Spurs closing in on “maverick” with “supreme natural talent”?
The Mirror has written that Gil “is a true throwback to another era; his expression on the ball and willingness to take risks.
“This is not a player who tries to find space but one who actively avoids it, he wants to draw opposition players towards him and beat them with trickery and flair.
“Gil is somewhat of a maverick – a player who will light up games and take fans off their seats, but also one who remains a raw diamond whose focus is on his supreme natural talent rather than concentrating on maintaining a team’s intensity in pressing and shape off the ball.”
Gil is also incredibly versatile; he has played on both wings – midfield and attack – and as a No. 10 during the course of his professional career.
And fans have compared him to some truly great players, past and present.
