Report: Spurs have put five-year contract worth £41.5k-a-week 'on table' for Bryan Gil
Spurs have offered Bryan Gil a five-year contract worth around £41,500-a-week as they look to seal a swap deal involving the Sevilla starlet, according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Tottenham look to be closing in on a move for the 20-year-old.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are set to spend around £21.5 million plus add-ons for Gil. Meanwhile, Erik Lamela will move to La Liga as part of the deal.
And Tuttomercatoweb has now provided further information on the move.
According to their report, Gil has been offered a deal that will run until 2026. Lamela meanwhile, will sign a three-year deal with Sevilla.
Huge statement from Spurs as Bryan Gil looks set sign contract from nowhere
Tottenham have been linked with a host of names since Fabio Paratici’s arrival. Some of those links seem to have to come to little.
What has been so startling about the deal for Gil is how advanced it has got before anything has been reported.
Everything now looks to be in place for an agreement and a transfer to go through.
And it now appears that Gil is set to sign a five-year deal with Tottenham in what looks to be an extremely impressive statement of intent from Paratici.
