Spurs fans react to Milan Skriniar reports

A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Calciomercato claiming that Fabio Paratici has enquired about Milan Skriniar.

After a turbulent time for Tottenham, the club have a manager in place. Nuno Espirito Santo’s arrival was confirmed on Wednesday.

The fans will be hoping that the club will ramp up their transfer plans with the new season looming on the horizon.

And it appears that Paratici is indeed getting stuck into the window – and could have set his sights on a big statement.

According to Calciomercato, the Spurs director has knocked on the door of Inter Milan regarding Skriniar.

Inter are open to selling the 26-year-old. However, they have set an asking price of at least £51.5 million (€60 million).

It has previously been claimed that Spurs want two centre-backs. And signing the Slovakian would be a huge piece of business.

It certainly appears that many of the fans would love to see Skriniar arrive. They have suggested that he could be a bargain at that sort of price.

Interestingly, a couple have pointed out that Arsenal are set to pay out a similar figure for Ben White. And the Tottenham fans clearly think that they would be getting the better deal.
