Spurs fans react on Twitter to Yves Bissouma reports

A number of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Sunday Mirror claiming that Tottenham are looking into whether they could do a late deal for Yves Bissouma.

The Premier League leaders look to have been one of the biggest winners from this summer window. And it seems that they may not be done yet.

The Sunday Mirror (29/8; page 66) reports that the departure of Moussa Sissoko has freed up space in their midfield. And that has prompted Fabio Paratici to eye a late move for Bissouma.

The report notes that Brighton want around £40 million for the 25-year-old. Nuno Espirito Santo is said to be an admirer of the Mali international.

Bissouma has made an outstanding start to the campaign with the Seagulls. And obviously, his departure would not leave much time for Graham Potter’s side to sign a replacement.

So a move may be out of the question for this window. But there are plenty of Spurs fans who would certainly be over the moon if they did manage to sign Bissouma.

He has been a revelation on the south coast. And a move to one of the Premier League’s heavyweights looks inevitable at some stage in the future.

And for many supporters, he would be a fantastic addition to Nuno’s midfield.
