Boubakary Soumare will have his Leicester City medical in ’10 days or so’, according to La Voix des Sports.
The publication is claiming that barring a miraculous turnaround, the midfielder will no longer wear the shirt of Lille.
He will have his medical in the very near future before signing a five-year contract at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes will then pay the French club €23m (£19.7m) without bonuses for a player who had just one year left on his contract.
Soumare featured for the Ligue 1 outfit on their way to winning their first league title in a decade. The player turned out 32 times in the top-flight.
Leicester City have been chasing the ace for quite a few weeks now, however, it seems a transfer is nearing completion.
Jurgen Klopp was described as being ‘in love’ with Soumare.

TBR View: Soumare medical eases fear about collapse over a deal for Leicester
News Soumare is set to undergo a medical will ease any fears that the deal could collapse.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have been in for the midfielder for quite a while now, however, a deal was failing to get complete.
It was reported back at the start of May the club was confident over completing a move for the star. However, the length of time taken to complete it may well have left some fans on edge.
Last-minute collapses in seemingly completed deals isn’t an uncommon occurrence, especially in the Premier League.
Cristiano Ronaldo virtually had an Arsenal shirt in his hand before Manchester United swooped in with a last minute offer.
Meanwhile, Willian had undertaken a Tottenham medical before Chelsea came in with a better deal at the last minute.
Completing a transfer in a swift manner is the ideal procedure, but, sometimes deals don’t work out like that.
The good news is that the Midlanders will soon have Soumare in their ranks for next season.
