Some Man City fans were reacting after an update emerged about their chase of Jack Grealish.

According to Eurosport, there is a feeling privately that the Aston Villa star could leave this summer. The Villains are likely to accept a bid higher or close to the £89m Manchester United paid for Paul Pogba.

The midfielder has had to defend himself in recent days in the wake of England’s failure at the Euro 2020 final. Roy Keane questioned Grealish’s absence in the penalty shootout, however, the 25-year-old claimed he wanted to take a spot-kick.

All the updates in the early stages of the transfer window have been about the Midlanders’ reluctance to sell the attacker. But, it seems that the Citizens will be able to test the club’s resolve.

However, the club will need to undertake a firesale to make room for the ace. The squad proves incredibly packed especially in attacking/midfield areas.
