Some Arsenal fans were drooling over Gabriel Martinelli after his penalty for Brazil.
What’s the story?
Brazil overcame Mexico in the semi-finals of the Tokyo Olympic Games.
The South American side beat their rivals 4-1 on penalties with the Gunners man taking and scoring the second kick for his country.
Martinelli confidently smashed home his spot-kick past the despairing dive of Guillermo Ochoa.
Brazil will now play for the gold medal on Saturday, facing off against either Spain or Japan.
It means the youngster will miss the start of next season. Arsenal kick-off their campaign away to Brentford next Friday evening.
However, Martinelli will be offered time off after his period at the Olympics.
Jack Wilshere has claimed the ace will thrive upon his return.

Arsenal need to be cautious with Martinelli after his time with Brazil
Burnout is very real.
And it’s something the Londoners are all too familiar with given their rich injury past.
Players such as Jack Wilshere had their playing careers destroyed due to playing too much in their younger years.
However, it seems as though Arteta has it all under control with Martinelli.
He played a bit-part role after returning from a long-term hamstring issue.
And Arsenal need to continue being cautious with Martinelli after his elongated time with Brazil.
