‘So much talent’… Harry Kane says reported Liverpool target is just ‘incredible’

Harry Kane knows better than anyone just how close England have been to glory in recent years.

The Three Lions’ captain has been through heartbreak in 2018, 2021 and 2022 as England crashed out of major tournaments in devastating fashion.

England are just a few players away from being world and European champions, and speaking to ESPN, Kane has named Jamal Musiala as the one German player he wishes was English.

Kane has been full of praise for Musiala, claiming that he’s an incredible talent who could be a star for England.

Of course, this all comes against a backdrop of interest from Liverpool who are said to be eyeing Musiala as a new signing.

Kane hails Musiala

The striker spoke highly of his Bayern Munich teammate.

“One German footballer you wish was English?” Kane was asked.

“I’m playing with Jamal Musiala at the moment. He is pretty much English, but he chose to play for Germany. He’s an incredible player, so much talent, I would’ve liked it if he’d picked England rather than Germany,” Kane said.

We can’t help but salivate over the idea of Musiala playing in this England team.

Musiala operating in this midfield would give England the creative spark they need to unlock defences in those big games, and it’s a real shame he didn’t choose to play for the Three Lions.

Luckily though, English football may not be deprived of Musiala’s talents for much longer. He continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool said to be among the frontrunners for his signature in the coming months.

Whether or not Musiala does end up playing in the Premier League remains to be seen, but if he were to come back to England, we’re sure he’d tear the division to shreds as he is that talented a player.
