Arsenal fans have rejoiced after the Gunners confirmed that Kieran Tierney has signed a new contract at the Emirates.
The Scotland international has signed a new long-term deal, reportedly taking him to the summer of 2026.
Tierney joined Arsenal from Celtic in the summer of 2019 in a £25million deal.

Although it took him a while to get fully up and running due to injuries, he finally hit form last summer.
Since then, Tierney has been one of Mikel Arteta’s most consistent and reliable players.
He has made 62 appearances for Arsenal, registering three goals and nine assists.
Arsenal future captain?
Tierney has earned countless plaudits from fans, peers and pundits alike.
Gunners legend Ian Wright told Wrighty’s Podcast last year: “He’s a future captain for our club.”
And Paul Merson told Sky Sports: “I would give (the armband) to Tierney as he’d run through a brick wall for you.”
Likewise, Tierney has been in great form for Scotland, helping his nation reach the Euro 2020 finals.
Arsenal fans haven’t had much to cheer about in recent months, so Tierney’s contract renewal has gone down well.
