West Ham United are interested in a prolific striker on the continent.
The Hammers are in the market for a new centre-forward this summer transfer window and have been targeting a number of options over the last few weeks.
Jhon Duran has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium but his asking price is proving to be a significant stumbling block.
Now they’re keen on signing a Euro 2024 star.

West Ham want to sign Niclas Fullkrug
Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth reports that West Ham United are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Fullkrug.
“Borussia Dortmund’s Niclas Fullkrug has emerged as a potential striker target for West Ham,” Sheth said.
“They are looking seriously at other forward targets after being unable to find an agreement with Aston Villa for Jhon Duran.
“Interest in the player remains, but as it stands, there is a big gap in valuation.
“Fullkrug, the 31-year-old Germany international, has entered the final two years of his contract.
“There is also an interest in Villarreal forward Alexander Sorloth.”
West Ham snubbed Niclas Fullkrug previously
Speaking on the Rest Is Football podcast, Alan Shearer revealed that David Moyes once turned down a move for Fullkrug.
“I was speaking to David Moyes about him as well. And he was saying that they had a look at him [Fullkrug] at West Ham, but they just thought he was missing one or two things,” Shearer said.
“But for the last sort of six months, he sort of reviewed it and thought, maybe they got that one wrong.”
Since then, the Germany international has been ‘lethal’ (per Daily Mail) at Borussia Dortmund, netting 16 times whilst laying on 10 assists last term.
The 31-year-old scored twice at the Euros this summer and was a constant threat when he entered the fray.
Everton were linked with Fullkrug last year.
