Dharmesh Sheth has told The Transfer Show (broadcast on Sky Sports News; 16/8 from 17:00) that he has been told by a contact that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains fully committed to Arsenal amid speculation surrounding his Gunners future.
Aubameyang has endured a turbulent time at the Emirates. It was around a year ago that getting the striker to sign a new deal seemed like the most imperative challenge for the club.

Ultimately, he signed fresh terms in September last year. Unfortunately, he struggled to live up to expectations over the season.
The 32-year-old ended the campaign with just 10 goals in the Premier League.
He toiled again in pre-season ahead of this term. And he was missing from the squad that faced Brentford on the opening day.
Mikel Arteta claimed that illness was the reason for his absence. But in the background, there has also been speculation surrounding his future.

The Times recently reported that Arsenal would now consider offers for the Gabon star. So it would appear that the forward’s time at the Emirates could end in a hugely disappointing fashion.
However, Sheth has suggested that Aubameyang himself is determined to write a fresh chapter on his time with Arsenal.
“I’ve spoken to a contact who says Aubameyang is fully committed to Arsenal, he does still have two years on that big contract, and wants to return to the pitch as soon as possible,” he told The Transfer Show.
Arsenal may have little choice but to persist with Aubameyang
Aubameyang reportedly earns around £250,000-a-week. And at 32, he is hardly a young player.
It is a window where many clubs are unable to spend large sums. And with that, it is hard to see the Gunners being able to agree a deal to move Aubameyang on.
That may prove to be a blessing in disguise. If he can rediscover his best form, he will be a massive player for Arteta’s side once again.
Unfortunately, he looks some way off being that player right now.
