Tim Sherwood has told Optus Sport that Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici deserve huge credit for bringing Dejan Kulusevski to Tottenham Hotspur in January, as he shared how amazed he has been by the forward since his arrival.
Kulusevski has been absolutely outstanding since arriving in the Premier League. He joined from Juventus having struggled for regular starts with the Old Lady.

His loan move came with an option to buy. Obviously, he had showed potential in Turin. But some may have anticipated that he would struggle in North London, particularly with the youngster arriving right at the end of the window.
However, Kulusevski has been so much better than most could have thought. He has scored three goals and contributed six assists in 11 Premier League games. And he has cemented his spot alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in the front three.

He scored and provided an assist on Saturday as Tottenham beat Aston Villa 4-0. And Sherwood suggested that Kulusevski deserves all the plaudits coming his way for the way he has adapted. And he is not the only one.
“Amazing… I can’t tell you how difficult it is to play in the Premier League and for a foreign player to come over, some superstars have come from abroad and been absolutely rubbish, but this boy has taken to it like a duck to water,” he told Optus Sport.
“He’s 21 years of age. They’ve got an option to buy him for £29 million. Now, when he first came and he hadn’t played, you thought it might be a lot of money, it is an absolute snip at the moment.
“This boy has got an eye for a goal, he’s settled in with world class players up front with him, he’s enjoying his time now. Without doubt, they are going to trigger the option at the end of the season.
“He’s an asset to the football club, he will only get better. Absolutely outstanding. We have to give Antonio Conte and Paratici (credit).”
Dejan Kulusevski faces fresh challenge when Tottenham make move permanent
It is hard to see Tottenham not making his move permanent. Reports have claimed that they are planning to do the deal this summer.
As Sherwood suggests, right now, that deal looks like a masterstroke. But Kulusevski will be aware that the pressure will increase once he does sign permanently.
Expectations will rise because of the fee involved, but also because of how well he has played.
