Sergio Reguilon probably summed up how a lot of Spurs fans feel about Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg with his three-word response to the midfielder’s Instagram post in the wake of the Euro 2020 semi-final between England and Denmark on Wednesday.
Of course, Denmark’s incredible tournament is now over. Kasper Hjulmand’s men pushed England all the way at Wembley.

However, the Three Lions had the quality and endurance to book their place in the final where they will face Italy.
It was an amazing few weeks for the Danes. Obviously, their run to the semi-final was partly inspired by the prospect of paying a proper tribute to Christian Eriksen after the tragic scenes from their opening game.

They showed so much heroism on that day. And they followed that up by being about as heroic as footballers can be on the pitch with their performances since their talisman’s last involvement in the tournament.
The emotion of the victory over Russia was followed by an emphatic and clinical display against Wales.
And they reached the last four with a fairly comfortable win over the Czech Republic. And for a brief moment, it seemed they may upset the odds one more time.
They have won a lot of admirers across the continent. Plenty of England fans made sure to laud their opponents before focusing on their country’s first major tournament final since 1966.

So it is no surprise that Hojbjerg was able to express real pride on social media following Wednesday’s defeat…
The Tottenham midfielder posted an emotional message on Instagram. And amongst those to reply were Reguilon and Joe Hart.
The pair hit the nail on their head with their responses…
